Dead birds smell less than dead deer, why is that?

So the weather is sooo much nicer today, and i'm pushing on, literally just stopped in the library for a quick few minutes to check emails. Am going to push on to Buffalo (in Corning, NY atm) but will try for Buffalo for sunday, so three days of good cycling.
But the weather is great and the terrain is far less sleep, i've done over 50 miles in 4 hours.

Anyway, to lunch and the road...

  1. Perhaps since they are much smaller in size? But dead cats smell the worse, no? The awful scent of my childhood ... (loads of stray cats in Israel)

Good to hear you are progressing safely on your way. I am, as promised, sending some good prayers your way ...

    Cheers,

  2. I've only seen one dead kitten so far, and yesterday i accidentaly ran over a dead something-or-other, in an attempt to avoid a slightly fresher dead one!
Stray cats are nasty. I had a friend from Kuwait who said they were vicious, feral creatures that usually had one eye and cuts out of their ears!!
